Meet The Founder
Hayden Hughes was born and raised in California. From a young age, he recognized the issue of homelessness affecting both his community and the country as a whole. Seeing individuals and families struggle on the streets ignited a passion in him to create change.
Since his first volunteer experience at a homeless shelter, Hayden recognized the urgent need for society to Address the homelessness crisis from a different angle
With over 300 hours of community service through shelters and tutoring underprivileged American youth, Hayden set out to make a significant impact on homelessness. One major milestone in this journey was the completion of his Eagle Scout project for his local homeless shelter in downtown San Diego.
Through this project, Hayden worked with the shelter to develop and construct a custom “little library,” to help bring together the community in the shelters rooftop garden, while also providing a long needed expansion to the shelters library capacity.
To further his passion, a the idea of a Blog was born to help educate and further his impact on the homelessness crisis
